Now hiring for the off season and for next season (Memorial Day–Labor Day).

Must-haves for both jobs: 18 or older (you’ll often work alone), and available every day of peak season, Memorial Day through Labor Day, with no vacations or lengthy time off. Stay the entire summer season and you’ll earn a bonus.

Oceanside Beach Rental & Snack Shack · Pier Plaza North

It’s a fun place to work, but this job comes with real responsibility: the cash, the gear, the crew and the customers are yours to look after, often on your own.

What you’ll run
- Open and close the kiosk, and be the point person on every shift.
- Count and balance the register and cash drawer, and make bank deposits.
- Go to the bank to get change for the register.
- Track inventory and reorder before we run out.
- Buy supplies and products from local stores.
- Make the weekly staff schedule.
- Train and supervise staff.
- Handle customer questions, issues and complaints with a cool head.
- Enforce safety and rental policies: photo ID deposits, waivers and return checks.
- Inspect gear for damage and pull anything unsafe.
- Handle booking and scheduling for reservations and orders.
- Keep records and check in with the owner every day.
What we’re looking for
- Supervisory and cash-handling experience preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- Responsible and trustworthy: we’re counting on you.

- Check gear out and back in.
- Rinse and rack boards and wetsuits.
- Set up and break down chairs and umbrellas.
- Run the register (Square).
- Serve snacks, drinks and Mini Melts.
- Restock snacks and supplies.
- Help beachgoers with directions and beach tips.
- Be on time for every shift.
- Dress appropriately.
- Give great customer service.
- Stay aware of theft and unsafe situations.
- Keep the kiosk clean, neat and presentable.
